It’s now possible to purchase a season pass for an individual Höntsy session for the coming spring season. The availability of a season pass does not affect other pricing: you can still attend sessions using a Höntsy Pass, multi-ticket, or single-visit ticket as before.
Season passes are not sold for all sessions – for example, the floorball sessions in Rahola can still only be paid with single or multi-tickets or the Höntsy Pass. Volleyball has been crowded recently, and we aim to ease this by adding at least one extra session (Friday in Hyhky) – possibly with some additional program changes. Here’s the programme at a glance:
You can use the season pass flexibly together with other tickets. For example, you may have a season pass for one session and also a multi-ticket for occasional visits to other sessions.
You may of course buy multiple season passes, but note that in that case the Höntsy Pass is likely cheaper – with the Höntsy Pass you automatically have access to all these sessions.
Spring season passes are valid from 4 January to 17 May. However, note that the futsal sessions end already at the end of April, and various public holidays also affect other sessions. Pricing takes into account the length of the season, organization costs, and known non-play dates (e.g., Saturday sessions are not held on tournament days).
You can see the prices of season passes in the online shop. Here are some examples:
A €10 discount is available for all season passes for discounted groups (students/pensioners/unemployed).
Regular volleyball sessions: €99
Saturday volleyball sessions: €74
“Easy floorball” in Takahuhti: €109
Floorball at Sammon uusi koulu on Tuesdays: €139
Thursday futsal in Etelä-Hervanta: €109
Basketball in Amuri on Wednesdays: €109
Small print – detailed terms:
Please note that even with a season pass you must reserve your spot for each session. Without a reservation, a playing spot cannot be guaranteed, and as usual, a no-show (unused and un-cancelled reservation) will result in a penalty fee.
A maximum number of season passes equal to the session’s capacity will be sold for each session (e.g., 13 for volleyball when the maximum is leader + 13).
Due to the technical setup of the Varaaheti system, the session leader may sometimes accidentally charge the wrong card (e.g. when you have both a season pass and a multi-ticket); these can be corrected afterwards.
Occasional cancellations do not entitle you to compensation. If unexpected cancellations occur repeatedly for a session during the season, compensation may be given case-by-case, e.g., in the form of single tickets.
The purchase is binding. However, compensation or a refund is possible in the following situations:
If the session is permanently cancelled mid-season due to lack of participants or another reason, you may receive compensation corresponding to the unused portion of the planned sessions. This also applies if a significant change is made (e.g., the level of a volleyball session is changed or the time is shifted). If such a change does not suit you, please contact us for compensation.
If you develop an illness or injury during the season that prevents participation, the unused portion may be compensated (minus a handling fee equivalent to two visits) in the form of another ticket type (multi-ticket, Höntsy Pass, or a later season pass).
